Who are we?
Mini Mountain Creative are a full-service creative film and video production agency based in Northern Ireland, working across Ireland and the United Kingdom. Our work spans drama, commercial, corporate video, music video & live performance, documentary and more. With over a decade experience working together on media of all types and sizes, our core team have established a reputation for delivering the highest quality of work, with a creative edge that stands out from the crowd. We also work with a number of creative associates who’ve written, directed and featured in award-winning content.
OUR INSPIRATION
Just the other side of the vast Lough Neagh lies the Sperrin Mountains. As mountains go, they aren’t the most enormous, but as anyone who has seen them will tell you, there’s still something undeniably epic about them. This is our home, and something about the place we think has rubbed off on us. ‘Small, but massive’ as a music festival here used to say. We love big ideas, going beyond expectations and making content that speaks to the heart.
Christopher Byrne
Producer, Director, Cinematographer
Chris brings a wealth of global filmmaking experience, with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Theatre and a Master’s in Film. His approach is rooted in the belief that the most powerful stories are often found at the human level, seeking the magic in the ordinary and the untold. Early in his career, Chris worked in Northern Ireland’s peace and reconciliation sector, tackling challenging content head-on. With expertise in cinematography, directing, producing, and editing, Chris is dedicated to helping you scale your story from its smallest spark to its highest peak.
Fiachra Ó Longáin
DOP, Creative Director, Post-Production
Fiachra is a filmmaker based in the northwest of Ireland. Beginning in the sound department, Fiachra has since moved into camera work, lighting, editing and finally a little directing. This range enables Fiachra to understand the production chain from start to finish. More than just a technician though, he is always looking for the beauty and the depth he can showcase in his work. His output has covered documentary, short film, broadcast and his creative work has been shown throughout Ireland, the UK and the USA.
We work with a tight-knit crew of highly talented production & post-production professionals – each of whom help us bring the creative vision behind a project to life.

William Forester Ayton
Dynamic Camera Work
William Forester Ayton is our go-to guy for dynamic visual work. Specialising in camera movement, he runs, walks, skates, wheels, jibs and jives to bring you visuals that pop off the screen. Although scientists have not yet found any trace of equine DNA in him, everyone that works with William will tell you he’s a workhorse.

Colm S Herron
Writer & Director
Colm S Herron is a writer & director from Derry, Ireland. His recent NI Screen funded short film I Know You screened at Galway Film Fleadh, Foyle Film Festival and more. Colm also works as a DOP, has acted in a number of plays & short films, and is also a singer/songwriter of some repute.
